Primary Teacher job summary

Wanted for the Autumn term a dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate Primary Teacher. We welcome applications from newly or recently qualified teachers.

We are looking for a teacher who is committed to the ethos and values of the school, is passionate about making a difference and has the capacity to inspire.

The successful candidate will:
• Have experience of teaching in a Primary setting
• Be a practitioner who maximises the potential of pupils
• Understand the importance of using self-evaluation and performance data to
identify and implement effective improvement
• Maximise achievement through rigorous monitoring, intervention and review
• Develop learning and teaching within a Primary setting
• Be committed to contributing to the wider life of the school.

Polam Hall School is a 4 – 16 all-through academy and is part of Woodard Academies Trust and rated Good by Ofsted in October 2021. We have 790 pupils on roll, with 1.5 forms of entry in our Primary Phase and have increased from three to four forms of entry in our Secondary Phase.
