East Garforth Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to join us in September 2026 on a full-time, temporary basis.

Our academy is located in the easily commutable outer east side of Leeds in the community of Garforth and is part of the Delta Academies Trust. We currently hold a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and are proud of our consistently strong outcomes for pupils. We are a school who provide a rich and ambitious curriculum are fortunate to occupy a plot with large green spaces, which include a wildlife area. Your new role:
The successful candidate will teach pupils in Key Stage 2, ensuring the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are realised.
Salary: MPR / UPR, (£32,916 to £51,048).

East Garforth Primary Academy is located in the outer east side of Leeds in the community of Garforth. The academy is a slightly larger than average sized academy, catering for pupils from the Early Years Foundation Stage, through Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2. There are currently 257 pupils on roll, including 25 part time Nursery pupils. At East Garforth Academy, we strongly believe in giving individual attention to the needs of the children in our care. We encourage our children to be lifelong learners through the development of life skills, including responsibility, resilience, readiness for learning, resourcefulness and reflectiveness.
