With you in our classrooms, we can change lives.

At Feversham, we believe in nurturing the unique brilliance within every child. Beyond fostering high academic achievement, we champion a holistic approach that celebrates the whole child. As we continue to grow this vibrant environment, we are seeking an ambitious and dedicated teacher who will help us drive this ambition. Through diverse opportunities in music, arts, drama, outdoor learning, and sports, alongside dedicated specialist teachers, we empower students to become confident, expressive learners who develop a lifelong love for knowledge and grow into caring, compassionate individuals.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be an innovative and inspiring Key Stage 1/2 teacher committed to creating a child-centred learning environment where creativity and imagination flourish. This teacher will move beyond "creating robots" by fostering holistic development, critical thinking, and a strong connection with the natural world. We welcome a teacher who can bring a new dimension to our team with an extracurricular skill or specialism.

About Feversham Primary

Feversham is known for its commitment to "defying gravity" and ensuring that its pupils, regardless of their background, are entitled to an education that is as good as, if not better than, that offered by private schools. We aim to provide a rich and connected curriculum, emphasising not only academic rigour but also the social, emotional, cultural, and spiritual development of each child. FPA was shortlisted in the top 10 for the world's best school award, its curriculum approach has garnered interest from around the world, and pupil attainment is in the top 10% of schools nationally. The headteacher is an award-winning educator, recognised as TES Headteacher of the Year, and the school is a strong advocate of music and arts in the curriculum, and has featured in national and local media outlets. We're looking for someone to build on our achievements and shape the next stage of our journey.

Closing date: 15th May

Ofsted report

The school has rapidly improved and was graded a "Good" school by Ofsted in 2018. Our school is quickly gaining a positive reputation across Andover as a place where excellent teaching and strong support means that students thrive at our school.

Our students are our absolute strength. They are overwhelmingly polite, respectful and hard-working. We expect our students to work hard and behave well both inside and outside of the classroom. Over the last two years we have invested heavily in improving the resources that students have access to such as a new dance studio, a new library and the development of our animal management area as we believe our students deserve the best in order to be successful. As a community, we live and breathe our school values as we all understand that by adhering to them our community will be a better place to learn.
