Primary Teacher with Teaching & Learning Responsibility (TLR) job summary

At Knowleswood Primary School, curiosity leads the way, kindness is our compass, and play is where the learning begins. We’re a vibrant, inclusive school on the edge of Holme Wood in Bradford, West Yorkshire serving a richly diverse community. Our ethos is simple: Learning Without Limits. We believe every child can achieve excellence with the right support, and we work hard to create a safe, happy environment where children are supported to thrive academically and personally.

Our curriculum is creative, challenging, and knowledge-rich, designed to inspire curiosity, build resilience, and nurture independence. Strong partnerships with families and the local community are at the heart of everything we do.

We're seeking an experienced Primary Teacher with Early Years specialism to lead our Reception class and shape purposeful play that builds language, early reading, number sense, and self-regulation. We want to create phonics that pops, maths that matters, and small moments that make a big difference — like turning puddles into probability and snack-time into storytelling.
