What skills and experience we're looking for

The Directors of Emmaus Catholic MAC, supported by the Archdiocese of Birmingham, are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational practising Catholic leader with a clear vision to develop further this forward-thinking school.

St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School, Bearwood, Smethwick, is an ambitious and outward looking school with happy, motivated and well-behaved children, an excellent staff team committed to raising standards, a supportive and enthusiastic Local Governing Body and strong links with our local Parish. The successful candidate will be an effective leader, who will continue to raise standards and further enhance teaching, learning and the curriculum so that it enriches the lives of our children, makes learning engaging and fun, and ensures every child’s talents are developed to the full.

Under the leadership of the Catholic Senior Executive Leader (CEO), the successful candidate will play a full part in the Committee of Principals, the vehicle through which policy, procedure and effective collaborative practice is developed, in order to raise academic achievement across all Emmaus Catholic MAC schools.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking and growing MAC, committed to an exciting vision of providing “excellent education for all in the heart of our communities: nourishing faith, nurturing talent, fostering aspiration.” Please see the further details in the application pack and we really look forward to receiving your applications.
