Principal job summary
Venn Academy Trust is seeking to recruit a dynamic, innovative, and proactive Principal to lead one of our sponsored SEMH Schools based in Scarborough, under the direction of an experienced Executive Principal. We are looking for an ambitious individual who can lead the school to ensure it meets the needs of all its pupils and take it forward on its next phase of the school improvement journey.
There has been substantial investment in the building and grounds. We have a dedicated staff team that wants to secure rapid improvement and lots of support and investment in the curriculum and resources. Brompton works in strong partnership with other Venn special schools
Now we are looking for an inspirational and dedicated principal to lead Brompton Hall School into its next phase of development and growth.
You will be skilled in working collaboratively with stakeholders and partner organisations at all levels to maximise the educational and social opportunities available for pupils, aged from 8 to 16 years of age, with EHCPs. You will lead an established team to respond to the needs of pupils, assisting them to build strategies to minimise the barriers to their learning, and fulfil their potential.
Our ideal candidate would have:
Qualified Teacher Status combined with a degree (or equivalent).
Successful school leadership and management experience.
Responsibility for developing, monitoring, and evaluating an aspect of school provision.
Experience in working with children with SEMH needs.
