Progress Tutor job summary

,As a Progress Tutor, you will support and monitor students, working with them individually and in groups, to deliver a tutorial programme to help students focus on their learning and study skills, enabling them to make academic progress to achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for the progress, performance and wellbeing of a caseload of students, taking measures to assist them in exceeding their target grades. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with young people and have the ability to liaise with parents and carers to establish positive relationships with students. You will track and monitor student attendance, achievement and retention, as well as managing safeguarding concerns successfully. Please note this is a term time plus one week contract and you will be expected to work a number of your additional days at College Open Days, Course Discussion Evenings and Parents Evenings.
