Projects and Infrastructure Manager job summary
Are you passionate about technology and committed to delivering top-notch IT support? We are on the lookout for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Projects and Infrastructure Manager.
This role will be based at our Spencer Academies Trust Central Office, supporting the One Spencer IT Service, ensuring a seamless technology experience across the Trust. You will be required to travel to any one of our 27 academies and so you must hold a valid driving licence.
The Projects and Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating key IT and infrastructure projects across our Trust, ensuring they are delivered effectively and aligned with our strategic priorities. The role will oversee the planning, delivery and governance of technology and infrastructure initiatives, working closely with schools, central teams and external partners. This includes managing project timelines, resources and risks, while ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure and support our Trust’s long term digital strategy.
Alongside project delivery, the role will also support the development and continuous improvement of our infrastructure environment, helping to ensure reliability, resilience and consistency across our systems and services.
The postholder will work closely with the wider IT team and report to our Head of Infrastructure, helping to strengthen our capacity to deliver complex projects while maintaining high quality operational infrastructure.
