About the Role

Academy Bay House are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, passionate and dynamic teacher of PSHE to join our collaborative and forward-thinking team.

Set within an exceptional coastal site, Bay House is a place where teachers are empowered to lead. You will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential opportunity to contribute to our thriving Sixth Form (KS5) provision. This role is suitable for an ambitious ECT, an experienced teacher or an unqualified teacher looking to make a significant impact within a large, supportive secondary setting. The school is committed to supporting unqualified teachers on routes to secure QTS.

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Unqualified working towards qualification, a strong degree in a relevant subject (or related discipline), or proven experience in a similar setting, with a willingness to further develop subject and teaching expertise.

Safeguarding: A full commitment to KCSIE guidance and the proactive safeguarding and welfare of all young people.

Ability to support students’ social, emotional and mental health needs, including maintaining high expectations and effectively managing behaviour.
