About the Role
You will play a key role in delivering engaging and challenging lessons, supporting students to achieve their full potential and develop a strong understanding of Psychology and Sociology.
You will:
Deliver high-quality teaching across KS3–5 (depending on experience)
Plan and teach engaging lessons that promote curiosity, criticalthinkingand academic success
Assess,monitorand support student progress to ensure strong outcomes
Contribute to curriculum development within Psychology and Sociology
Support wider school priorities including safeguarding,behaviourand attendance
Contribute to enrichment opportunities and the wider life of the school’s community

Has, or is working towards, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has a strong subject knowledge in Psychology and/or Sociology

Westwood College is a mixed, non-denominational academy for students aged 13-19. Located in Leek, a market town in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands, it has roughly 800 students.
Set in the grounds of a stunning 17th century manor house, Westwood College is part of the Talentum Learning Trust.
