Psychology Teacher job summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of Psychology to join our successful sixth form and secondary team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.
The successful candidate will teach Psychology at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity, critical thinking and academic excellence. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ambitious early career teacher with the appropriate subject knowledge, we would welcome your application.
Over recent years we have been adding to our offer as a faculty, which now includes Psychology and Business at both A level and GCSE, Sociology A level, Level 3 Applied Diploma in Criminology and Level 2 Health and Social Care. A TLR for responsibility of the Social Science faculty is also available for the right candidate to express interest in.
The ideal candidate will be:
Passionate about their subject(s); able to inspire students and help them to understand the real-world relevance of the social sciences.
Committed to supporting students to achieve their goals, particularly our growing and diverse sixth form.
Willing to contribute to a small but growing team with an increased range of subjects on offer.
Interested in contributing to our key development goals: closing the gaps through high-quality literacy teaching, inclusive teaching practices and diversity throughout our curriculum.
