Salary:Grade E SCP 12-17 FTE £24,496 - £26,845 (Actual pro-rata salary £20,482 - £22,446)

Location:Roseacre Primary Academy

Contract type:37 hours per week, Full Time, Fixed term until 31/08/2024

Contract term:Term Time Only (38 weeks per year)

Roseacre Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Pupil Engagement Officer, to primarily work with KS1 pupils, to start as soon as possible on a fixed term contract until the 31st August 2024.

The ideal candidate would have experience working with KS1 pupils, have excellent communication skills and will have the ability to work 1:1 with targeted pupils for interventions.

A summary of the role is outlined below:

  • Identify pupils for targeted intervention
  • Actively seek and introduce interventions that assist in overcoming potential barriers to learning
  • Work in a 1:1 or group situation with targeted pupils as required
  • Develop and deliver a range of interventions that meet the needs of the pupils and gather impact evidence on the outcomes
  • Develop a relationship with parents
