Just over 30 minutes of picturesque driving from Norwich and Great Yarmouth (travelling in the opposite direction to most cars!) is The AIM Federation - an established federation of six schools and an SEMH Base located along the beautiful North Norfolk Coast and the Norfolk Broads. We have a good mixture of levels of teaching experience across the Federation of schools who work closely together to improve outcomes for our young people.
Not only will you be joining a dedicated and hardworking team at Horning Primary School, you’ll be collaborating with a wider team of around 130 staff in total, across the six schools, working together and striving to deliver the very best education for our local communities.
We are looking for candidates who;
- Have experience working with EYFS/Key Stage 1 aged children on a 1-2-1 basis
- Have experience working with children with additional needs and possess a range of strategies to support children with challenging behaviour
- Good Numeracy and Literacy skills
- Can form positive relationships with children, parents and staff
- Are able to support the children within the class and during break times including on a 1-2-1 basis.
- Have a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children
- Able to use their initiative to support learning & behaviour
- Be adaptable to situations and willing to work as part of a team
- Are willing to undertake training as necessary
