About the Role: As the Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing and monitoring quality assurance systems across all school phases within the Trust. You will support the Trust in evaluating standards and achievements, and act as the lead professional for school self-evaluation. Your responsibilities will include developing CPD for Governors, Middle and Senior Leaders, supporting schools in pre-Ofsted preparation, and providing line management and support for agreed schools and Headteachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear vision and strong leadership in developing, implementing, maintaining, and reviewing quality assurance processes across all schools in the Trust.
- Develop and evolve a school QA process that is transferable to all school phases.
- Ensure consistency of practice for self-evaluation across the Trust and contribute to improvements across schools.
- Provide reports for Headteachers and stakeholders highlighting strengths and areas for development.
- Lead and monitor the impact of Trust networks and facilitate leadership network groups.
- Undertake an active role with Ofsted as a registered Ofsted Inspector and disseminate changes in response to national initiatives.
- Facilitate the sharing of good practice and contribute to the development and enhancement of learning and teaching practice across the Trust.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified teacher status and a degree.
- National professional qualification for headship (NPQH) and (NPQEL) is desirable.
- Ofsted trained or experience as an Ofsted Lead Inspector.
- Successful leadership and management experience in a school within Primary, Secondary, and Special phases.
- Experience of quality assurance, school self-evaluation, and system leadership.
