The Trustees and Governors of Sewell Park Academy are looking to appoint a Raising Achievement Manager.
To provide support to targeted vulnerable students (disadvantaged, SEND, Able, LAC, EAL, underachievers) to achieve their potential and to raise standards at Key Stage 3 and GCSE, principally in English and Maths, but also in other subjects as needed. The role will also include some administration support for Needs Assessments and Annual Reviews.
The ability to be self-motivated and organised is essential as the right candidate will need to be able to prioritise their own workload responding to the most urgent concerns to ensure that the school is compliant in safeguarding procedures and practice. The successful candidate will be supported and be provided ongoing training and development to assist them in their role.
Desirable Qualities:
Experience of planning a high quality nurture scheme of work as well as delivering nurture lessons and tracking and monitoring the quality of teaching and learning across Nurture classes in years 7, 8 and 9.
Experience of SEND Admin including collating information for Needs Assessment Requests and Annual Review paperwork.
