Raising Standards in Science job summary
The successful candidate will:
Lead science outreach with the STEM Coordinator and build links with schools and external agencies
Support and oversee trainee teachers and ECTs in Science, including timetabling and lesson observations
Work with ITT providers to increase the number of trainee science teachers
Train and monitor ITT mentors
Organise and deliver internal CPD for ECTs and ITTs in Science
Track GCSE and A‑level data and plan appropriate interventions
Work with the Director of Science and Deputy Head of Science to plan and deliver interventions
