What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a teacher with experience in EYFS to teach full-time in our lovely Reception class.

Our Reception class is already very well-established and organised; the children are happy and settled, and we pride ourselves on having strong relationships with parents and the wider community.
We need a super teacher who will join us and continue what we've already grown.
The following experience would be ideal:
- previous or current teaching experience in EYFS
- experience of successfully delivering a systematic, synthetic phonics scheme
Our desirable criteria includes:
- experience of using Tapestry as a communication and assessment tool
- experience of following Sounds-Write (phonics), Kinetic Letters (handwriting) and/or Talk for Writing (writing)
Most importantly, we want somebody with a "can do" attitude, who loves working with children and enjoys everything that teaching brings with it!

Further details about the role
We will expect the successful candidate to contribute to our New Intake events for our Reception class starting in September 2024.
Supported by the leadership team, they will also be responsible for:
- administering the Reception Baseline Assessment in September 2024
- parents' evening during the autumn term 2024, and potentially spring 2025
- day-to-day communication with parents. including observations on Tapestry
- working successfully within our EY and KS1 team.
