Reception Class Teacher - Maternity Cover job summary

Creswick Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Reception Class Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave during the Summer Term 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join our welcoming Early Years team and support children as they begin their educational journey.

Key Duties

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality teaching in line with the EYFS curriculum
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Assess, track, and record progress to ensure each child achieves their potential
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school

  • A qualified teacher with QTS
  • Experience within Early Years (EYFS)
