What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a motivated and vibrant early years teacher, to join our team within the Oaks CE Learning Federation. Our Federation consists of three small schools, with teachers working with colleagues in parallel year groups, across the Federation to embed a shared curriculum. It is intended that this post would be based at sister school - Copythorne CE Infant School.
We are looking for an individual who can:
Work collaboratively with others
Is a good communicator
Understands how children learn
Is able to contribute to the wider provision of the school
Is able to foster a nurturing classroom, while aiming for high standards of achievement
Is able to work closely with teaching assistants, while taking responsibility for classroom provision
Is able to share workload with their team
Keen to learn and develop
Keen to share ideas and support others
Able to support our vision and values as a church school
Is open and honest
Upholds professional standards
Committed to safeguarding
Be willing and able to travel between our schools for staff meetings and to contribute to shared PPA sessions with the wider Year R team
