Reception Class Teacher job summary

A unique opportunity has arisen for a talented, passionate and ambitious professional to join our friendly team here at Roman Way Academy. We are looking for Reception teacher to work alongside our current Reception teacher and team across a two form Reception cohort. In addition to having excellent subject knowledge and a willingness to learn, candidates will need to demonstrate that they have high expectations and will place the children’s learning and wellbeing at the heart of their practice and every decision made. Our school benefits from strong staff retention, reflecting the positive, collaborative culture we work hard to maintain. Applications from both experienced teachers and those at the start of their careers are warmly welcomed. Even though this is advertised as a fixed term position, for one term only, there is a possibility for it to be extended.

You will have responsibility for leading and managing a rich educational experience for your class, creating a welcoming, inclusive and calm environment for all.
