Reception & Student Services Officer job summary

Wye School opened in September 2013 with a single intake of Year 7 students who delivered our excellent first GCSE results in August 2018, followed by strong GCSE and then A Level results in following years. The role

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in a role that you can make your own within a flourishing school?

We are looking for a Reception and Student Services Officer to join our team and assist in a variety of administrative roles. You will be working alongside our admin team, undertaking a variety of day-to-day administrative duties, so you will need to be pro-active, organised, enthusiastic and able to use your initiative.

The successful candidate will be able to provide a professional and efficient customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for staff, students and all visitors to the school. You will be required to deal with a variety of reception tasks including welcoming visitors, answering calls and dealing with student enquiries. In addition to this, you will perform a range of administrative tasks such as photocopying, helping to prepare resources and sorting post.

About You

As part of a busy school environment, the ability to deal with pupils, parents and visitors, in a polite and helpful manner is essential. You must be mature and understand about the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding in taking on such a role. What you can offer is always more important to us than your experience, so applications are welcome from anyone with a passion for learning and a genuine commitment to bringing out the best in everyone.
