This is a unique opportunity to work within a trauma informed environment where our dedicated staff team strive to provide meaningful education that enables our pupils to reach their individual potential. Ideally you will have experience of working within a school reception area, although all relevant skills and experience will be considered. We are proud of the level of investment we place in the learning and development of all our staff to ensure each of our team members has the excellent level of training they need to be effective in their role.

We are looking for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to look after our busy reception area. This is a term time only role, 37 hours per week, working either 8.00 am - 4.00 pm or 8.30 am - 4.30 pm (finishing half an hour earlier on Fridays).

Ideally you will have strong reception-based experience with the ability to deliver a professional front-of-house service at all times. We are looking for a confident individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who is able to provide an efficient and friendly service to staff, students and all visitors to the school. You will be the first point of contact for external visitors to the school, and will be expected to maintain a welcoming and organised environment. In addition, you will be required to carry out some administrative duties, for which full training will be given.

We particularly value the well-being of every member of the school community and regard this as fundamental to the success of our school.

If you wish to be part of our team please contact Mrs Helen Nicholson on 01462 410450 or hnicholson@acb.beds.sch.uk. We will be delighted to answer any questions you may have or arrange a visit to the school.
