Job description

Providing reception and administrative support under the direction of the Office Manager

Being the first contact/front line in receiving visitors, staff and students to the Academy

Answering the telephone, dealing with external and internal calls

To assist with the preparations for Academy events, projects and functions

Prepare Academy letters

To attend occasional open evenings, prize giving and other Academy events

Maintain a high degree of confidentiality with regards to issues concerning members of staff and students

Carry out responsibilities with due regard to the Academy’s policy, organisation and arrangements for Health & Safety at work

Carry out duties in line with equality and diversity principles and be sensitive to the needs of others, promoting a positive approach to a harmonious working environment

To be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and follow the safeguarding policy

Other duties as required
