Receptionist / Administrator job summary
Thank you for showing an interest in this position. Mill Hill Primary School is looking for an ideal candidate to be the ‘first port of call’ on our reception desk. Mill Hill Primary is a vibrant school with 208 children from 3 – 11 and we run a one class per year group structure. We are based in the heart of Northallerton and our community links are very important to us. Staff work very well as a team and we are a warm, welcoming and inclusive school – no two days are ever the same within our busy school office and it is challenging to list all of the areas that are covered!
Job Details
Hours of Work: 37 Hours per week, Term Time Only (39 Weeks Per Year)

We are looking for someone who is:
- An excellent communicator at all levels as you will liaise with parents, staff, contractors and visitors
- Efficient, well-organised, able to prioritise and use initiative
- Knowledgeable about office and admin systems and quick to learn school systems – managing information, organising diaries and appointments, ordering and monies
- Able to use excellent IT skills to produce documents and work of a high standard – letters, newsletters and Trust documents
- Able to respect and protect confidentiality in all matters
- Cheerful, friendly and caring
- Flexible, as the job is quite diverse!
