Receptionist/Administrator job summary
TITLE: Receptionist/Administrator
GRADE: Grade B, Points 3-4
HOURS/WEEKS: 37 hours per week / 40 weeks per year
WORKING PATTERN:
Hours to be worked between: Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm (these timings include a daily unpaid break of 30 minutes)
There may be a requirement to work some hours during school holiday periods or at other times to meet the needs of the academy. For the right candidate, there may be role flexibility with working times and working days.

Chantry Academy is a thriving and ambitious, Ofsted rated good academy We are looking for a committed, talented individual to join the main academy administration team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly academy as we look for an efficient, highly organised administration assistant to work with the main office team.
The role involves providing efficient support for various office functions and serving as the initial point of contact for visitors, parents, pupils, and staff. Strong communication skills and a warm, welcoming personality are essential. The position offers valuable experience in a school environment and requires exceptional organisation, confidence, and drive. Responsibilities include greeting visitors professionally, managing the switchboard, and maintaining school records and systems diligently.
Previous school office experience would be highly desirable but is not essential.

- Is highly organised with excellent admin skills.
- Has an outstanding eye for detail with an excellent level of accuracy.
