We are looking for a friendly and proactive Receptionist to join our team at Maltings Academy. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for pupils, parents, staff and the wider community.

You will manage incoming calls and emails, greet visitors, support with administrative duties and ensure the smooth running of the school's front office. As part of our wider administrative team, you will also support internal communications, appointments, post and deliveries, and assist in providing first aid when required (training provided).

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, people facing role and wants to be part of a supportive school community.

We are looking for someone who:

* Has experience working in a reception or customer service role.
* Is confident using IT and general office systems.
* Can communicate clearly and professionally with a range of stakeholders.
* Is calm under pressure and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Enjoys being part of a team and has a genuine passion for supporting students.

About Maltings Academy

Maltings is an 11-16 academy based in Witham, Essex. Situated between the cities of Chelmsford and Colchester, the academy has 900 students on roll and benefits from a purpose-built building that was constructed in 2011.
