The Role

As the Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of UTCN, ensuring that all interactions at our front desk reflect the high standards and values of our college. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming and assisting students, parents, staff, and visitors
  • Managing telephone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintaining visitor logs and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider office team

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A warm, approachable manner and professional appearance
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Previous experience in a front-of-house, customer service or school office environment is desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
