Your opportunity to deliver confident, compliant recruitment across a thriving education trust

Are you a highly organised and detail‑driven administrator with a passion for delivering accurate, compliant and high‑quality recruitment processes?

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can work autonomously, prioritise your own workload and apply sound judgement when handling sensitive and often complex information?

Join the Cabot Learning Federation as a Recruitment Coordinator, where you’ll play a vital role in our Central Recruitment Team to support our academies through safe, efficient and professionally delivered recruitment. You’ll act as a trusted point of contact for hiring managers, confidently coordinating end‑to‑end recruitment activities for a number of academies and applying your excellent planning, problem‑solving and communication skills to ensure a smooth experience for both applicants and colleagues.

You’ll play a key role in delivering an efficient, well‑organised and professional recruitment service. You’ll ensure that recruitment activity runs smoothly by coordinating processes, managing information effectively and providing clear, timely communication to candidates and colleagues. Your work will help academies secure the right people at the right time while upholding the trust’s high standards for safeguarding and compliance.

You’ll bring a proactive, solutions‑focused approach to a varied workload, using your judgement to manage day‑to‑day responsibilities while contributing positively to a supportive central team. Your strong administrative skills, ability to interpret policies and guidance and confidence in working with digital systems will help ensure recruitment activity is well‑structured, consistent and aligned with CLF expectations. You’ll be someone who enjoys building constructive working relationships and representing the Trust with professionalism and care.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes for a number of academies, balancing a busy and varied workload with confidence and strong organisational skills.
  • Work autonomously to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and ensure every stage of the recruitment cycle is completed accurately and on time.
  • Use our electronic recruitment system to coordinate advertising, candidate communication, shortlisting packs, interview logistics, data entry and onboarding tasks.
  • Undertake robust pre‑employment checks in line with safer recruitment, Keeping Children Safe in Education, Ofsted requirements and HR regulations.
  • Maintain meticulous and compliant records, ensuring accurate documentation, GDPR adherence and high‑quality administrative outputs.
  • Support candidate attraction, helping academies promote roles effectively - especially hard‑to‑recruit or specialist vacancies, through the use of social media, building external and internal networks of candidates and other attraction sources.
  • Build strong professional relationships with academy leaders, hiring managers and HR colleagues, ensuring a smooth, consistent and friendly recruitment experience.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment, while confidently making decisions and managing tasks independently.
  • Work closely with the HR Systems team to ensure accurate new‑starter data and contribute to maintaining an up‑to‑date Single Central Record (SCR).
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, streamline workflows and enhance compliance.

About you

You will bring:

  • Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
  • The ability to manage and organise competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience delivering recruitment or high‑level administrative processes, ideally end‑to‑end.
  • Confidence working with digital systems, recruitment software and Microsoft Office.
  • A solid understanding of employment legislation relating to recruitment, safer recruitment expectations and equal opportunities (or willingness to learn quickly).
  • Professionalism, discretion and strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A commitment to high standards, safeguarding and delivering a positive candidate experience.
  • GCSE Maths and English (C/4 or above) and/or NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with the confidence to work independently while contributing to a supportive team.

Recruitment experience, particularly in education, is desirable but not essential. If you're new to the sector but bring the right skills and mindset, we’d love to hear from you.

Why join CLF’s Recruitment Team?

  • Hybrid working across home, our Kingswood office in Bristol and academy sites when required.
  • Exposure to recruitment in primary, secondary, special and alternative provision settings, bringing variety and rich professional experience.
