We are thrilled to be recruiting a Regional English Lead to drive our standard of excellence across our South West Secondaries.
Your new role
Reporting into Karl Sampson, Regional Executive Director for the South West, you will work closely with the senior leadership and subject leadership teams to improve and raise standards within English across our South West secondaries. You will analyse performance data to ensure that students are appropriately targeted for support and work across the Trust to ensure consistency of subject quality and delivery throughout the network of schools.
The role is jointly accountable for subject performance improvement, attainment and progress in English. You will have responsibility for planning, delivering and teaching high quality lessons, as well as delivering intervention programmes which challenge and support subject teams to achieve stretching targets for outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified teacher of English recent CPD in relation to subject area and proven experience of subject leadership including curriculum development with a sustained record of improvement in this curriculum area whilst utilising and analysing a broad range of data.
