START DATE: March 2026
Are you an enthusiastic, and dynamic HR professional looking for a new challenge? Then Academy Transformation Trust is the place for you. A wonderful opportunity has arisen to join a professional, enthusiastic and friendly team as a Regional HR Business Partner.
Closely partnering with primary and secondary academies in the Trust’s Essex region, you will provide a proactive, effective and efficient HR service ensuring that strategies are in place to balance the needs of individual academies whilst supporting the delivery of ATT’s strategic objectives. In particular, you will act as a business partner to Principals, Managers and Local Governing Body members, negotiate with trade unions and resolve a broad spectrum of issues, spanning employment practices, learning and development, pay and conditions, talent planning and disciplinary and grievance matters. Equally importantly, you will drive profound change to ensure we comply with evolving legislation and have significant experience of successfully managing complex and contentious HR case work. Lastly, you will have demonstrable successful experience of supporting the development of leaders and less experienced HR colleagues.
A CIPD Level 7 qualified professional (or equivalent demonstrable experience), you will bring sound generalist HR experience gained in a fast-moving environment. This will have given you proven expertise to manage a complex caseload, interpret and apply guidelines, advise senior management and define best practice. Familiarity with educational issues would naturally be useful, but your project leadership, interpersonal, conflict resolution and influencing skills will be far more important.
Our ATT2030 Vision means we meet our young people where they are at and refuse to leave them there. Our pupils will leave us capable, competent and confident and take their place in the community of educated people. Our staff will be cared for, developed and they do will be capable, competent and confident. We would love to hear from those who want to join us in that mission.
At ATT we are passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and welcome all applications.
If you would like to find out more about the role, please contact Clare Plant, Director of People Strategy on clare.plant@attrust.org.uk.
Please apply early as this vacancy may close early if a number of suitable applications are received.

Ravens is an incredible Academy which belongs to the Academy Transformation Trust family of academies. We believe that every child, every person, is capable of many amazing things. It is therefore vital that we give our children as many different experiences as possible to ensure they are well equipped to succeed in today’s rapidly changing society.
Our curriculum is carefully designed with the children’s specific needs and interests in mind. It is built on the firm foundations of providing our children with excellent English and Maths skills. As a school, we also seek to expand our pupils’ current reality by broadening their horizons, enabling them to realise that there is a wider world out there and encouraging them to be aspirational.
We are committed to helping our pupils make links across themes and subject disciplines, by providing a cohesive learning journey. We believe the curriculum should be connected in a meaningful way, evidencing clear progression and should demonstrate a consistent approach throughout school.
Our expectations are consistently high; not just of us as educators but of the children and families that join together to constitute a vibrant learning community.
Ravens is about teamwork and about forming binding, positive relationships built on mutual trust. Children thrive here in a happy and nurturing environment. Our staff encourage a love of learning and work closely with parents to create a sharing community where all feel a sense of belonging.
Our children are polite and friendly. Visitors to the school often comment on the friendly and welcoming environment that characterises our community.
