Regional People Development Officer job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional People Development Officer to join our friendly People Development team. You will support 5 academies across Sheffield, Manchester and Oldham in the E-ACT Northern Region including the Regional Team.
We are currently operating a hybrid way of working where you will provide an effective HR service to our academies both remotely and on site. You will be based at E-ACT Royton and Crompton Academy in Oldham and able to offer blended working between home and office.
The successful candidate will provide support for the People Development Coordinator and People Development Lead with staffing analysis, performance management, absence management and all HR policies.
Effective management of People Development administration procedures, including responsibility for compliance with Employment policies and regulations
Contribute to the production of an annual HR and resources plan including resourcing /talent planning, organisational design and development, training and CPD, performance management / appraisal
Contribute to the design and effective operation of HR administrative processes
Work with Regional People Development Lead and Regional People Development Coordinator, to ensure that they receive information to create reports as required by Regional Leadership Team
You will play a key role in rolling out our innovative new HR software and ensuring compliance with safeguarding legislation.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar HR role and providing HR advice on a variety of HR related matters. It would also be advantageous to be CIPD qualified to at least level 5 and a background in working within the education industry would be desirable.

Salary - NJC 12-17 £20,777.63 to 22,545.08 (FTE £22,183.00 to £24,491.00)
Term Time only plus 3 weeks - total of 41 weeks per year
