Reintegration & Intervention Co-ordinator job summary

The role of the Reintegration and Intervention Co-ordinator at Cedar Mount Academy is pivotal in supporting the progress, personal development, and successful reintegration of students within the Academy’s internal provision - Reintegration. This individual will play a key role in facilitating effective transitions both into and out of the Reintegration provision, while designing and implementing tailored interventions for students with social, emotional and behavioural needs. Working under the direction of the Vice Principal (Culture), the Reintegration and Intervention Co-ordinator will liaise closely with students, staff, families and external agencies to secure positive outcomes and improve student engagement, attendance and achievement. This role is integral to the Academy’s inclusive ethos and commitment to equity of opportunity for all learners. The successful candidate will demonstrate high levels of empathy, resilience and commitment, along with strong organisational and communication skills. They will have a proven ability to build trusting relationships with young people, particularly those who have experienced challenge in mainstream settings, and to implement targeted support strategies that improve behaviour, attendance, and educational outcomes.
