Are you calm under pressure, reliable, and looking for a flexible role where you can make a real difference? John Flamsteed Community School is based in a semi rural location and is seeking dedicated and professional individuals to join our team of Exam Invigilators.

About the Role:As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and fair running of exams for our students. This includes supervising students, ensuring exam regulations are followed, and creating a supportive environment for candidates during what can be a stressful time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up examination rooms and distributing exam materials.
  • Monitoring students throughout the exam to ensure compliance with exam regulations.
  • Assisting students with queries in a professional and supportive manner.
  • Collecting, organising, and returning exam materials securely.
  • Reporting any irregularities or issues to the Exams Officer.

About You:We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Calm, approachable, and able to handle situations professionally.
  • Flexible and available to work during exam periods.
  • Able to follow strict procedures and guidelines.

No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. This role is ideal for individuals looking for casual work to fit around other commitments.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
