Are you passionate about inspiring students to explore big questions about life, beliefs, and ethics? We are looking for a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive team. This exciting role will involve teaching KS3 and KS4 Religious Education as well as KS5 Philosophy and Ethics.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and inspiring teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) RE, with a focus on A-Level Philosophy and Ethics for Key Stage 5 (KS5). The ideal candidate will have a passion for RE and Philosophy, with the ability to engage students in critical discussion and encourage deep reflection on ethical and philosophical issues. We are looking to fulfil this post on a 1 year fixed term basis.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons in KS3 and KS4 RE that encourage students to explore key concepts in religion, ethics, and philosophy.
  • Teaching A-Level Philosophy and Ethics to KS5 students, encouraging them to develop critical thinking and argumentative skills.
  • Implementing a curriculum that fosters intellectual curiosity and respect for diverse worldviews.
  • Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to express their ideas.
  • Contributing to the development of the RE curriculum and department resources.
  • Supporting students’ academic growth and personal development.
