Reprographics Officer job summary
We are seeking a proactive, organised and customer-focused Reprographics Officer to join our busy Admin team. This is a key role providing high quality reprographic, printing and document services to staff and students across the school, ensuring materials are delivered accurately, efficiently and to an excellent standard, whilst optimising budgets.
Working at the heart of our school operations, you will play an essential role in supporting teaching and learning by ensuring staff have the resources they need, when they need them. The ideal candidate will combine technical competence with a service driven approach, helping to maintain a smooth, reliable and responsive reprographics provision.
It is essential that the person for this role is organised, able to multitask, work flexibly and have a ‘can do’ approach. You will assist with general day-to-day admin tasks where you will demonstrate excellent IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database management. Candidates must have a Grade C/4 in Maths and English to apply for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Resource Preparation. Including collating, binding, and distributing teaching resources, exam papers, newsletters, and display materials.
- Print Production. Operating and maintaining high-volume photocopiers, large-format printers, and laminators.
- Deadline Management.
- Demonstrating excellent organisational skills to prioritise tasks to ensure timely delivery of resources, especially for exams.
- Manage stock control in line with school budget protocols. Monitoring paper, toner, and other supply levels and placing orders.
- Working closely with the Office Manager and Finance department.
- Machine maintenance. Clearing paper jams, performing basic equipment checks, and liaising with engineers and IT team.
- General administrative and display support.
- To carry out administrative tasks accurately and efficiently. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams), and specific school information systems, such as the Child Protection Online Management System (CPOMS), InVentry, ParentPay and Parent Apps.
- A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude, available to support at occasional parent/carer evenings and school events.
- All staff at Spen Valley support students and their families, they must implement our relationship policy and show our students and families respect and kindness in line with our charter.
This contract is 30 hours per week (school hours), term time plus 10 days.
