REPROGRAPHICS/RECEPTIONIST
We are currently looking for a Reprographics/Receptionist to join our busy Administration Team at the Secondary Phase. Reporting to the Administration Team Leader, the successful candidate will provide an effective reprographics service, along with supporting the wider administration team. The responsibilities of this role will include ensuring the smooth operation of the multi-functional devices throughout the college, monitoring the equipment and arranging repairs, as required. You will also be responsible for the copying and production of curriculum materials and the ordering of stationery. The role will suit someone who is well organised with excellent ICT and communication skills who is able to work to tight deadlines and changing priorities.
You will also provide ad hoc reception cover as required, which will involve answering queries in person and by phone and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors.
We are looking for a strong administrator who has a high level of accuracy and a good eye for detail. You will be a team player with a flexible approach and a ‘can do’ attitude and be willing to undertake a variety of duties as requested by the Administration Team Leader. Proficiency in Word and Outlook is essential, along with the ability to work quickly, accurately and effectively with various systems.
Working in a team of five, you will need to be a strong team player, therefore a flexible approach, a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to foster a positive welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors is essential.

Working Hours:
30 hours per week, term time plus 3 INSET training days
8:00am to 2:00pm – Monday to Friday (no breaks)
Some planned evening event reception cover throughout the year on a rota basis (with three other members of the team on the rota).
Salary:
Administration Assistant (Grade 4)
Full-time salary (52 weeks) From: £24,027 to £24,790 per annum
Term-time salary (30hrs per week/term time plus 3 days) From: £16,512 to £17,036 per annum

Hampton College is an established, successful, all-through school, which formed its own multi-academy trust (Hampton Academies Trust - HAT) in 2014. The Trust is also the education provider for the neighbouring secondary school, Hampton Gardens School and Hampton Lakes Primary School, which opened in September 2019. In 2020, Dogsthorpe Infant School joined our trust. HAT schools have very close links and some shared staff.
Hampton College currently serves the community of Hampton, on the southern outskirts of the city of Peterborough and has good links to Cambridge and Stamford. Hampton Gardens School serves the neighbouring Cambridgeshire village of Yaxley, as well new housing being added to the Hampton East development, where Hampton Lakes Primary School is located.

TEACHER OF GEOGRAPHY
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher with a passion for Geography, on a full-time basis.
You will be expected to contribute to the continued development of the Department’s curriculum. You should be able to communicate effectively with students and colleagues as well as having good organisational skills.
You should be a reflective practitioner, interested in developing your practice and trying out new strategies in your teaching. You will already be, at least, a competent user of ICT, and happy to learn more. Above all, we wish to appoint an imaginative and enthusiastic teacher, who will be keen to work alongside a team determined to create an excellent department and one keen to develop excellent relationships with students and staff.
You will have a passion for working with young people and you will relish the satisfaction that comes from helping them to develop and to learn. The successful candidate will, of course, be an important part of the department and can expect the support needed to develop their career further but will also be expected to:
