Merchants' are looking for a Reset Manager to manage the day to day running of Reset ensuring that students are effectively supervised and that high standards of behaviour are achieved.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure students are aware of the procedures and expectations whilst isolated and when necessary reinforce the reasons for sanction
- Responsible for ensuring there is work provided by staff and ensuring that all work is effectively distributed and collected at the end of each day
- Responsible for notifying senior leaders of any issues with work provided either in quality or quantity
- Communicate set work to students and offer help and guidance as required
- Develop additional programmes of work for students in relation to their progress whilst in Reset.
Pay range:
- SCP 17 - 21 - £27,284.70 - £29,150.18
- 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
- Term Time only, permanent
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English grade 9-4 (or equivalent)
- Effective behaviour management skills
- Ability to implement successful inclusion strategies for all children
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with pupils and parents/carers
