Resource Base Teacher job summary

Marden Vale CE Academy is looking to appoint a caring, skilled, and committed teacher to work within our Resource Base provision for pupils with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN).

This rewarding role is ideal for a practitioner who is passionate about inclusive education and has the expertise (or strong interest) in supporting children with a range of complex needs. The successful candidate will deliver highly personalised learning, working closely with support staff, families, and external professionals to ensure every pupil is supported to thrive.

  • Has experience of, or a strong interest in, working with pupils with complex SEN needs
  • Is an adaptive, reflective, and highly inclusive classroom practitioner
  • Can plan and deliver personalised, engaging learning programmes
  • Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
  • Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants and external agencies
  • Is committed to the ethos and values of a Church of England school
