Resource Base Teacher job summary
Wilton CE Primary school is a happy Good school (Ofsted November 22) with 160 children on roll. We are looking for a teacher to join our successful Resource Base team in January, or possibly before, as we expand to accommodate 20 children.
The teacher will be responsible for one of the two classes working alongside an experienced resource base teacher, SENDCo and teaching assistants. The resource base caters for children who have Speech and language disorders, including Autism and we are proud of the achievements that all children make. Experience of working with children who have speech and language needs is desirable, but not essential.
We are looking for some one who is:
- A passionate, dynamic and reflective practitioner
- Committed to the highest expectations of children's achievements and expectations
- Innovative and imaginative with the ability to create memories for children
- Dedicated and nurturing, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work in a team to support all children
- Willing to contribute to the wider life of the school
- Has experience of working across the primary age range
- Has experience of working with children with additional needs
- looking for a new challenge
