Safeguarding Administrator

Location: Challney High School for Boys

Contract Type: Permanent, Term time plus five training days

Hours of work: 37 hours per week. The working day will start at 8:30am and finish at 4:30pm, finishing at 4:00pm one day a week.

Salary: L3 - actual salary from £20,677 per annum

Closing date: 9am on Friday 3rd 1st May 2024

Over view of the job

To provide general admin support for the Safeguarding team as a whole whilst adhering to the school’s policies and procedures. Working alongside other departments you will assist the DSL in raising safeguarding awareness, developing current reporting procedures whilst establishing a safe environment for our students.

This is a varied role includes communications to parents/carers and external agencies, filing, presentations, report writing, staff training monitoring and diary management. The successful candidate will be conscientious and well organised with an ability to convey information clearly. Experience of safeguarding would be advantageous.

Purpose of the post

To support the safeguarding team with administration tasks required to safeguard the students.

SIMS knowledge would also be an advantage, but training will be given.
