What skills and experience we're looking for

Outwood Primary Academy Kirkhamgate are seeking a focused, organised and passionate individual to work in a dual role as a Safeguarding and Attendance Officer & Learning Manager within the academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving forward attendance strategies, by improving attendance levels and reducing persistent absence in line with Academy targets. As Learning Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring students academic and behavioural progress. This will involve identifying any children that may need intervention and recognising any barriers for learning. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure all safeguarding procedures are in place and will be a key liaison point between a range of agencies and the academy.

The working pattern for this position is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working term time only plus 2 additional inset days.
