Safeguarding & Inclusion Officer job summary

The Role

The successful candidate will take lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection matters, across the school, working closely with colleagues across the school as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. The role involves promoting the welfare of our pupils and acting as a source of support, advice and expertise for staff members.

The successful applicant must have excellent organisational skills, time management and communication skills, and be able to prioritise workload; remaining calm under pressure. They will have knowledge of supporting pupils with SEMH, demonstrate a professional, approachable and positive attitude to the role, whilst a sense of humour, enthusiasm and energy would be beneficial.
