Job Title: Safeguarding Officer

Location: Compass Primary Academy

Salary: £40,700 - £42,700 (fte)

Hours per week /Weeks per year: 37 hours / 42 Weeks (negotiable out of term working )

You’ll be the driving force behind our safeguarding strategy—ensuring our policies are robust, our staff are well-trained, and our children’s voices are always at the centre of what we do. You’ll also collaborate with Trust-wide safeguarding colleagues, contributing to a wider network of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

− Lead safeguarding and child protection across the school

− Support and advise staff on welfare concerns

− Champion a culture of vigilance and care

− Deliver safeguarding training and awareness

− Manage and develop the Wellbeing Team

− Collaborate with safeguarding leads across the Brooke Weston Trust
