The AIM Federation of Schools - an established federation of seven schools and an SEMH Base located along the beautiful North Norfolk Coast and the Norfolk Broads.
Not only will you be joining a dedicated and hardworking team at Mundesley Infant and Juniors, you’ll be collaborating with a wider team of around 130 staff in total, across the seven schools, working together and striving to deliver the very best education for our local communities.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to become our Safeguarding Practitioner across either Mundesley Infants and Junior schools or Swanton Abbott and Bacton Primaries. It requires someone with exceptional communication skills and a talent for self-organisation. Hours of work, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm.
Safeguarding Practitioner (DSL)
You will;
- be responsible for the day to day management of safeguarding in the two schools within the AIM Federation.
- take part in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings, and contribute to the assessment of children.
- advise and support other members of staff on child welfare and child protection matters, and liaise with relevant agencies such as the local authority and police.
The Safeguarding Practitioner (DSL) will be line managed by a Head of School and will work directly with each school’s DSLs, keeping in regular contact regarding case loads.
Full Safeguarding Training (DSL) and regular supervision will be provided.
Administrative Support (MJS)
In addition to carrying out Safeguarding Practitioner duties you will provide Administrative Support for Mundesley Junior if based there. Your responsibilities will include day to day administrative needs which will include, but not limited to, some of the following duties;
- First point of contact for visitors to the junior school site
- Calendar Management
- Administration and Correspondence
