What skills and experience we're looking for
Ravensthorpe CE (VC) Junior School is a four-form entry school situated in an ethnically and religiously diverse community. We are very proud of the progress that all of our pupils make during their time with us which is evidenced in our excellent SATs results over recent years. In our most recent Ofsted inspection (February 2023), we were graded Good: ‘Pupils are safe and happy at this friendly, welcoming school. Their conduct is exemplary in lessons and around school.’

The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint a highly motivated Safeguarding Support Officer to work with our Pastoral Team in leading and supporting the safeguarding needs of families and pupils. We are a vibrant and happy community committed to nurturing and developing each child and member of staff to achieve their best.
