The Local Academy Council of Green Lane Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint a permanent Admin Assistant who is committed, caring, resilient and able to work in a fast paced busy office environment.


The successful candidate will be computer literate with specific knowledge of Word and Excel. The experience or the ability to carry out administrative tasks, including the ability to present work clearly and professionally and the use of creating reports using IT packages is essential.


Your role will include
Answering telephone calls and receive visitors
Update diary as necessary
Process simple administration i.e. photocopying, filing and accounting (ParentPay)
Be responsible for Free School Meals
Process Incoming/outgoing mail and keep an up to date record
Type letters, reports and parental letters as necessary
Process registers, dinner numbers for the kitchen (Scholarpack)
Complete the admission of new pupils during the school year and in the new academic school year – CTF’s
Provide a secretarial and administrative service to the Head Teacher and other senior staff
Complete CENSUS data for DFE/DCC
