School Administrator job summary
We are seeking to appoint a self motivated and highly organised School Administrator to support with the administrative and organisational processes within our busy school office.
Hours: 35 hrs p/w, 8:30 - 4:00 pm Monday -Friday.
As a school administrator you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks and will work closely with senior managers to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Applicants must have a good general education to GCSE level , be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other computer applications and have previous experience of working in a school or similar office environment. The post holder must have good organisational and communication skills, be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to work on their own initiative as well part of a team.
The successful candidate should:
- have a working knowledge of SIMs or other school management systems (desirable but not essential as training will be given)
- be reliable, efficient , flexible and highly organised
- have a flexible and adaptable approach to work
- have a cheerful, warm and welcoming personality with the ability to communicate with children and adults alike
