What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit a friendly, efficient, welcoming and organised Administrator to join our school.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our hardworking and talented developing team. We are part of The NCSF Trust, which provides opportunities for mentoring and support from our other schools' Administrators.

Although the job title is 'Administrator' this does not really cover the role accurately. You will need to be superb at multi-tasking, adept at prioritising, a jolly good juggler of jobs and someone that does not mind interruptions! You may need to deal with a matter that arises at short notice to support the children, staff or parents, whilst answering the phone. If this does not faze you and you are willing to go above and beyond, then this is the job for you!

We are looking for an organised, efficient and flexible person with enthusiasm and commitment to their role. Experience of working in a school Office and knowledge of packages like SIMS and ParentPay is desirable but not essential. You will need a good telephone manner, proficient ICT skills and excellent English language, spelling and grammar.

The role is 30 hours per week for 39 weeks per annum (term time plus inset days). The salary is £24,294 pro rata.

The Administrator is the heart of school and essential for good communication and relationships with all our stakeholders, so being a people person and good communicator is essential.

Commitment to safeguarding

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All positions subject to an enhanced DBS check.

References are taken prior to interview. All appointments are subject to a police check in accordance with Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 which requires the disclosure of criminal background of those with access to children (see website Policy) Complying with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996 we request candidates to bring with them to interview evidence of their right to employment in the UK.
