Salary: Grade 11 Pay Point 27-30 (£39,939 - £42,699)

Approximate starting annual salary £38,551.36 per annum

Hours: 37 Hours per week; 44 Weeks per year

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 08:00am to 16:00pm; Friday 08:00am to 15:30pm. These hours can be flexible.

About the Role:

Working to the Trust's operating model, the successful candidate will lead all the support functions of the school including Finance, Human Resources, Premises and Health & Safety. They will work closely with a Central Service Team and will provide day-to-day line management and leadership for non-educational staff on site including the Administration team, Site team and Catering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective communication with staff, parents, local authority services, academy trust colleagues, contractors and users of school facilities.
  • Liaise with local authority admissions and SEN services regarding pupil placements.
  • Maintain and update school information systems including upgrades and year-end processes.
  • Work with Central Services to implement best practice financial procedures.
  • Ensure HR processes as delegated by the HR manager or Principal comply with Trust HR policies and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance, record keeping and risk assessment review.
  • Attend management meetings, as required.

  • Strong ICT, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with finance systems and budget management
