Working Pattern: Term time plus 2 weeks (41 weeks), 37 hours per week

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Business Manager to help us establish robust systems and structures that will enable us to deliver the very best education and experience for our children, families, and staff.

About the RoleAs School Business Manager, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, leading our administrative team and ensuring the smooth operation of all non-teaching aspects of school life. This includes:
- Managing financial operations, budgets, facilities, and administration
- Overseeing payroll, reconciliation, and school census processes to meet deadlines
- Using systems such as SIMS and iTrent (training provided)
- Liaising effectively with the Trust and external organisations on Payroll, HR, Administration, and Health & Safety
The successful candidate will be:
- Organised, flexible, and proactive
- Skilled in financial and budgetary management
- An excellent communicator with the ability to work collaboratively
- Committed to honesty, confidentiality, and integrity

Heathcote Primary School is a free school which opened in September 2017. We are part of Community Academies Trust. The school is part of a new community which is growing rapidly. We cater for children who predominantly live in the estates surrounding the school and Leamington Spa. The school is 2-form entry and is set in wonderful grounds which are developing. We have a forest school area, sports field, amphitheater and surrounding land which is ripe for development. We are particularly focussed on developing a curriculum which is embedded in outdoor learning.
